Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct is aimed at full-time employees and volunteers, interns and freelancers. It describes what we expect from each other and what WWFP expects from us.

1General

You act honestly with a good heart, are professional and polite. You represent the highest ethical standards and behave in accordance with the mission and values of WWFP.

2Anti-Corruption

You refrain from any form of corruption. You may not bribe or allow yourself to be bribed. WWFP is non-partisan and completely independent of politics, parties, and industry.

3Conflicts of Interest

You do not abuse your influence or position. Any form of favoritism or nepotism is prohibited. You report paid part-time jobs and may not use your work for WWFP for commercial purposes.

4Financial Responsibility

You use money and resources entrusted to you sparingly and carefully. If you are responsible for a budget, you must account for the use of the funds.

5Dealing with Property

You handle all materials and objects entrusted to you responsibly. You are frugal and committed to value retention.

6Habitat & Environmental Protection

You actively contribute to keeping your ecological footprint low. Catering by WWFP is vegan, vegetarian, or sustainable. You use materials sparingly and avoid waste.

7Collaboration

You work responsibly and constructively with others. Harassment, bullying, and any form of violence will not be tolerated. No discrimination of any kind.

8Drugs

In public service for WWFP, the consumption of alcohol and drugs is strictly forbidden.

9Confidentiality

Confidential information must be treated accordingly. You will not disclose or publish it, except as required by law or when instructed by WWFP.

10Compliance

You are responsible for complying with the Code of Conduct. Violations are investigated and dealt with. The Code is evaluated regularly every two years.
